The S61UL-SV·ST is a high-sensitivity rod featuring the “Mega Top R,” setting it apart from conventional solid-tip rods.
Designed for fluorocarbon lines around 3lb and sinker weights of 1/16 oz, it excels with light rigs such as drop-shot setups, as well as slow presentations with small plugs and other light lures.
The Mega Top R tip delivers a unique combination of performance: precise control by detecting line weight, excellent follow-through for accurate bottom tracing, and tactile sensitivity comparable to tubular blanks to feel subtle changes on the bottom.
During fights, it uses the same Real Control taper as other models, bending naturally to maintain full control of the fish.
A benchmark rod for light rig fishing has been perfected.
