The Wirebait Special rod seamlessly combines long-distance casting, pinpoint accuracy, sensitivity, operability, and power at an exceptional level, allowing anglers to deliver baits precisely to shallow cover or distant pin spots.
Inheriting the lineage of the 19BLX LG 6101MRB, the blank features a medium-modulus carbon base reinforced with ultra-high-modulus carbon in a specialized construction. Drawing design inspiration from swimbait and bigbait rods, it employs a strong butt with a sharply rising taper, increasing the upper limit for lure weight while dramatically enhancing casting distance.
The rod has a regular fast taper, and the tip features a “V-shaped” taper, enhancing accuracy and ease of casting. The design naturally enables slack-line retrieves that allow the lure to swim freely while avoiding unintended snags, ensuring that bites are reliably detected and hooked.
The rod’s performance potential with wirebaits also significantly improves crankbait and worming applications, making it an outstanding full-tubular versatile rod.
