This rod represents the answer to the question: What happens when the Heartland series creates a long-length Murakami-produced model that anyone can easily handle, anywhere?

For the first time in the Heartland lineup, the main material adopts HVF Nanoplus, finished with a slim yet thick-walled tubular “Power Slim” structure. Reinforced with X45 to suppress twisting and 3DX for quick recovery after bending, the rod feels light in hand yet delivers a solid, reassuring “tight” blank performance. During casting and hooking, the X45 structure minimizes power loss caused by twist, while the 3DX reinforcement enhances long-distance casting capability.

Following the PE PERFORMANCE concept, this model is equipped entirely with K-type guides. The taper, jointly designed by Haruhiko Murakami and the Heartland development team, features Murakami’s signature smooth bending curve that flows seamlessly from tip to butt. Every detail focuses on allowing the angler to control lures with pinpoint precision and accurate action exactly as intended.
